Unsinkable!

Mathew 14:30-31 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”

From the above passage of the Bible, we can learn how to connect with God, how to be unsinkable. Peter was saved from sinking by crying out for help and being caught by the stretched hand of Jesus Christ. We will endure many storms in our walk with God, times of great stress. Jesus told the disciples, In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33). How we handle the storms, the tribulations that come our way, is the key to our victory. If we are consistently sunk by the storms of life, it is an indication we are not really trusting our God and crying out for His help. Also in Acts 27:22-25, Paul trusted God: that was why he could encourage those on the ship doomed to sink, to be of good cheer, with assurance that they will not sink. The storms of life could not sink Paul; he faced them head-on with faith in God, and he overcame fear. Do you feel yourself sinking in the chaos around you? Remember, with God on your side (Isaiah 43:2) and holding your hands, YOU ARE UNSINKABLE.
