Satan’s Big Offer

GENESIS 3:1 NKJ “Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

The original temptation, through the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16), still being used by the devil today to keep people away from the blessings of God, is to doubt that God’s Word is truth, and to doubt that God desires the best for us. The devil’s false scheme is that God is keeping back something good that would make our life better and more enjoyable. But God is not withholding anything good from us. When He gave us Jesus, He gave us everything (Romans 8:32). Now it is our responsibility to learn how to receive what He has given us and use it for the glory of God and the good of mankind. God’s way is actually the very best for us. God’s will for you is actually what you would also choose for yourself if you had all the information God has. Satan is a liar and a deceiver (John 8:44). Do not fall for his strategies to separate you from God and His blessings. Satan will tempt you with big offers (Matthew 4:8-9). Do not take his bait that will lead to destruction. Do not be tempted to think you can be happier, richer, or more blessed by accepting Satan’s big offer. God cannot lie. He is dependable. God gave His Word to you so you could know the truth and be set free. Believe that God desires the best for you, and He is providing the best for you.
