Hope Until The End

HEBREWS 6:11-12 NKJ “And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

Hope is confident positive expectation. This verse tells us we should never give up hope, which is a positive expectation. No matter how many failures you experience, or how much time has passed, do not quit expecting a positive outcome in the end. What is the end? It is when you see your desire manifest. But this requires a combination of faith and perseverance. Too many people give up and accept defeat too soon. They are like a sports team that, just because it is not winning after the first half of the game, decides to go home and not even play the rest of the game. But there have been many examples where a team trailing behind at first half eventually won the game at second half. The Super bowl 51 victory of New England Patriots over Atlanta Falcons was a classic lesson in perseverance and hoping till the end. They were trailing by 25 points, and it looked like they already lost the game. But they never gave up. They kept their hope of winning alive and they won! A lot of people always quit too soon on their marriage, their job, relationships, or business. When you are doing God’s will, continue to have a positive expectation because God is good, and He is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). My encouragement to you today: do not give up; your miracle is on the way!
